MystifyNepal ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit mystifynepal.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Contact form submissions: name, email address, and message content, used only to respond to your inquiry.
• Place suggestions: if you use the "Suggest a Place" feature, we collect the place name, description, an optional name, and a photo you upload. Submissions are reviewed before appearing publicly.
• Poll votes: a small cookie is stored in your browser to prevent duplicate voting. It does not identify you personally.
• Language preference: your English/Nepali choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit.
• AI chat assistant: messages you type into the "Ask About Nepal" widget are sent to Anthropic's API (the company behind Claude) to generate a response. We do not store these conversations on our own servers beyond what's needed to display them during your session.
• Automatically collected data: like most websites, our hosting provider and any advertising or analytics services we use (see below) may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

Cookies & Advertising

We may use Google AdSense to display advertising on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

How We Use Information

• To respond to messages sent through our contact form
